Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LoopQue collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app and related services.
Information We Collect
We collect account information used to sign in, such as your email address and authentication provider details.
We store the reminder content you create, including titles, notes, dates, times, categories, recurring settings, and related reminder metadata.
When you scan or import a document, extracted text may be processed so LoopQue can structure it into a reminder.
We also collect operational data needed to run the service, such as notification tokens, permission states, and diagnostics related to crashes or app stability.
Camera, Photos, and OCR
Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to capture or import an image for reminder or shopping-list creation.
OCR runs on your device. The original image is not sent to the AI processing pipeline.
Only extracted text is sent for analysis when smart parsing features are used. Long numeric strings are scrubbed before analysis is requested.
If you choose to save original images, those files remain on your device unless you delete them.
How We Use Information
We use your information to create, sync, display, and manage reminders and shopping lists.
Extracted text may be sent for AI analysis so LoopQue can suggest structured fields such as titles, due dates, categories, notes, contacts, and recurring schedules.
Notification and calendar data are used only to support reminder features you enable.
Diagnostics and crash reporting are used to monitor reliability, investigate failures, and improve the app.
Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal data.
We may share relevant data with service providers that help us operate authentication, AI text analysis, push delivery, and crash or error monitoring.
We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, or protect users and the service.
Permissions
Camera permission is used to photograph documents for reminder and shopping-list creation.
Photo library permissions are used to import images from your device and, when enabled, save generated or captured reminder images locally.
Microphone and speech permissions are used only for voice reminder input when that feature is enabled.
Notification permissions are used to deliver reminder alerts and daily nudges.
Calendar permissions are used only if you choose to export reminders to your device calendar.
Storage and Security
Login credentials and certain app settings are stored using encrypted secure storage on your device where supported.
Saved local attachments remain on your device unless you remove them.
LoopQue uses monitoring tools to capture crash and error diagnostics so issues can be identified and fixed.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account and reminder data for as long as it is needed to operate the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Locally saved images and attachments remain on your device until you delete them or disable that feature in the app settings.
Operational logs and diagnostics are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate incidents, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Your Choices
You can manage app permissions through your device settings.
You can disable saved local images and remove previously stored attachments from the app settings.
You can sign out of the app at any time.
